Commissioned by TotalEnergies, ROVO Group BVBA contributed to a major maintenance shutdown (turnaround) in Belgium.
The assignment
During the turnaround of TotalEnergies' Antwerp refinery, installations were shut down for major maintenance, with thousands of extra workers on site.
Our approach
ROVO Group BVBA supported the turnaround with certified professionals working according to TotalEnergies' safety rules and schedule.
The result
A contribution to a safe turnaround, so the installations could restart.
Project specifications
- Largest turnaround in the history of the Antwerp refinery (autumn 2025)
- Over 3 months, from mid-September to just before Christmas
- Up to 3,500 extra workers a day, over 2 million hours worked
- Energy projects saving around 150,000 tonnes of CO₂ a year
