Safety helmet
A helmet protects your head against falling objects and impacts. But only if you wear it correctly.
When do you wear a helmet?
- Within the slewing range of a crane.
- When something can fall on your head or you can hit it.
- Always when the project has a helmet requirement.
What to watch for
- Replace your helmet no later than five years after production.
- Do not leave it in full sun.
- Only use stickers designed for helmets.
- Adjust the inner harness and use a chin strap when working at height.
